Conference registration and excursions
The attendance of the Inaugural Conference in Iasi, Romania on 9-12 January 2019 is open to the IOTA members only. Please become a member here and then register below. Space is limited. Register early!
The Conference registration fee includes the three full days of conference sessions and a ticket to the Opening Ceremony on 9 January 2019 featuring the keynote lecture by Metropolitan Kallistos (Ware) of Diokleia. In addition, tickets to the Reception following the keynote lecture will be made available to the first 400 registered participants. Space is limited, rooms at the headquarters hotel have already been sold out. Last Chance Registration is $120 (for non-students)/ $60 (for students). After your registration payment is processed by PayPal, you will receive two confirmation emails, one from PayPal with the subject line “You payment has been sent” and the other from Oveit with the subject line “2019 IOTA Conference Registration – Your order confirmation.” If you do not receive these receipts, check your junk or promotions folder.

Optional Excursions
Conference participants are invited to reserve tickets for the following two Excursions:
Half-day Excursion, 9 January 2019. Cost: $35 per person. Pick up from the Unirea Hotel Lobby at 9:00 am. The excursion will include a tour of two museums at the Palace of Culture, the Three Holy Hierarchs Monastery (the site of 1642 Council of Iasi, discussed at the Conference), and the Cetatuia Monastery, and wine tasting. One-day Excursion, 13 January 2019. Cost: $60 per person. Pickup at Unirea Hotel Lobby at 9:00 am. Dropoff at the end of the day, no later than 20:00. The excursion will include a visit to SIX monasteries, some of which are Unesco-designated historical sites: Varatec, Agapia, Gura Humorulu, Voronet, Humor, and Suceava Fortress. Those wishing to take part in both excursions should plan to arrive in Iasi on January the 8th and depart on January the 14th.
Excursion bookings are NON-REFUNDABLE. NO EXCEPTIONS.
