TRAVEL GRANT WINNERS. IOTA is pleased to announce the names of ten junior scholars, who are the recipients of the travel grant made possible with the generous support of the Orthodox Theological Society in America. Reflecting IOTA’s international character, the grant recipients hail from seven countries: Belgium, France, Georgia, Greece, Kenya, Ukraine, and the United Kingdom. EARLY BIRD REGISTRATION has been extended until September 30, 2018. The registration fees will increase on October 1, 2018 to $90 for regular members and $45 for student members. These fees cover about 15% of all conference costs. Over 150 participants from over thirty countries have registered thus far. To register at a discounted early bird rate, follow the stepshere. The preliminary conference program, subject to change, will become available in early October.  

GETTING TO IASI, ROMANIA The Inaugural Conference will take place in Iasi, Romania on January 9-12, 2019. Out-of-country participants are advised to fly into the Iasi International Airport (code: IAS).  For best rates, book your international airplane tickets about 100 days before your flight. If you wish to participate in the optional excursions, arrive any time on January 8 and depart any time on January 14. The Inaugural Conference officially starts with a worship service offered at the Metropolitan Cathedral at 17:15 on January 9. From the airport, take a taxi to your conference hotel.
