CONFERENCE TRAVEL GRANTS: DEADLINE EXTENDED. IOTA’s Inaugural Conference in Iasi, Romania on 9-12 January 2019 will feature the work of 300+ speakers from over THIRTY COUNTRIES. Join one hundred conference participants who have already registered by following the three easy steps outlined here. Junior scholars are encouraged to participate in the travel grant competition, the deadline for which has been extended until 8 July 2018. To apply, click here.

SPECIAL SESSIONS. A limited number of time-slots on the Program of the Inaugural Conference remains open for special sessions. To propose a special session, send a session theme, description, and the names of four speakers from at least two countries to [email protected]

EXCURSIONS. IOTA is pleased to announce that two optional excursions will be made available to the conference participants. The first half-day excursion will be offered before the start of the conference in the morning of 9 January 2019 and will include a bus tour of the City of Iasi, the Palace of Culture, and wine-tasting at the Cetatuia Monastery (returning to the headquarters hotel at 14:00). The second full-day excursion to several area monasteries will be offered after the last day of the conference on 13 January 2019 and will finish at the headquarters hotel at 19:00. If you wish to participate, make your travel plans accordingly. The excursion costs are NOT covered by the conference registration fee. Additional information, as well as excursion tickets will be made available through Oveit on the IOTA website at the end of summer. Stay tuned!
