Call For Special Sessions

The IOTA Board invites proposals for Special Sessions on topics relevant to the study of Orthodox Christianity. Sessions will be 90 minutes or longer in length and should include 4-8 presentations. The speakers need to be from at least two countries, and those scheduled for special sessions may not speak in the regular sessions.

Proposals should be submitted using the form below and include

  • the name, title/position, institutional and disciplinary affiliation, and contact information of the organizer(s),
  • title of the proposed session
  • a brief description of the session (up to 350 words), its relevance to the study of Orthodox Christianity, its aims, and the intended audience for the session
  • a list of 4-8 presenters, including name, title/position, institutional and disciplinary affiliation, contact information, and paper title and brief abstract of up to 150 words for each.

Proposal forms should be submitted by August 1, 2022 using the form below.
